We are off to New Mexico, and I'm freaked out by altitude sickness.

We meet Corpus Christi, and discover it is -- yikes! -- a real city.

Our 43rd anniversary (whoa). And I begin our wild and woolly Corpus Christi tour.

I complete the Casita Saga and consider my shortcomings. Also, check out the exasperated angel!

We get the rats locked out...but (Gulp) get two of them locked in. And they were, uh, crying. (Yikes!)

Ice, Storms, and...a Polar Bear. Sure. Yeah. Why not?

Clearwater, Florida...a great place. When it isn't in the middle of a tropical storm. (Yikes.)

We meet a helpful contractor who wants to demolish the house to improve it. (Yikes!)

We arrive in Dallas and discover that America has serious problems.
